Mario Picayo- Studio Visit

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Mario Picayo and McKinley Matteson, who visited my studio while in Barbados for a few days. Mario Picayo is an author and publisher living in New York, born in Cuba and raised in Puerto Rico and the U.S Virgin Islands. He's passionate about promoting literacy in the Caribbean by producing books for children that explore the people, history, plants, animals, and overall adventures of the Caribbean.

Large painting

This painting is about 4ft x 8ft large. It was painted using emulsion paint (and some acrylic) on plywood.

Studio

Wow, I haven't updated in quite some time.
Here is a picture of my new studio in my backyard. It's not 100% complete yet, but hopefully it will be soon. I'll post more pictures of it, and keep updated this summer! :)
